for Sustainable practice commitment :

Lunar has made a voluntary commitment to promote the spirit of living & working in harmony with the nature.

We create a right working environment that enables us to continue to reduce our impact on the environment. Continuously to minimize our carbon footprint has become our permanent agenda.

Our sustainable innovation designs optimize the utilization of local sustainable materials, residual / salvage materials that benefit not only to the company but also to our employees, environment as well as society.

Lunar has committed to take part on promoting sustainable business practices in both local as well as international market by join in sustainable industry networking such as SFC and eco exotic.

Eco Exotic Members at a Glance

From chandeliers made from branches to lamps fashioned out of wood scraps, Lunar is constantly innovating with new designs that rely on one of the most widely available commodities—waste. Salvaged glass, pumpkin shells and batik cloth are integrated into natural materials such as water hyacinth, bamboo and mendong to form striking creations that are increasingly spared from any kind of artificial treatment. For instance, our finishing relies on water-based coatings and we are gradually altering solvents to non-toxic water-based glue. One example is a sturdy table made from salvaged railway sleepers, with a slight sheen achieved by rubbing the teak surface with a piece of glass—simple and green.

A healthy, well ventilated working environment, fair wages and a zero tolerance for child labor are the cornerstones of our worker's policy. Progressively, we are instilling values of sustainability and reduced energy use in the workplace, as part of our commitment to reach sustainability milestones over the years ahead. Lunar’s creations are currently purchased by customers in US, Canada, Europe and Japan, among others.

Intinya adalah, Dalam menciptakan produk Lunar, kita selalu berusaha bersahabat dengan alam dan lingkungan. Seperti dalam hal penggunaan bahan baku, piranti sampai pada tenaga kerja.
