Tak Cuma Malaysia, Rusia Juga Intervensi Rubel Habis-habisan

JAKARTA – Malaysia terancam krisis ekonomi. Terlebih, situasi politik dalam negerinya tengah tidak kondusif. Mata uangnya, ringgit pun sudah anjlok terendah dalam 17 tahun terakhir.

Menurutnya, Malaysia tidak sendiri dalam melakukan hal yang sama. Dalam hal ini, Malaysia secara agresif melakukan intervensi ke pasar.

"Tapi itu kan juga diikuti dengan rubel Rusia,” kata Staf Khusus Menteri Keuangan Arif Budimanta di Jakarta, Sabtu (29/8/2015).

Cadangan devisa Malaysia pun kian menipis, per akhir Juli 2015, cadangan devisa Malaysia terkikis tingga USD92,67 miliar pada akhir Juli 2015. Dan hal yang sama pun terjadi dengan Rusia.

“Lebih dari 50 persen cadangan devisanya (Rusia) habis untuk intervensi menjaga stabilitas nilai tukar rubel. Tapi kemudian (ekonomi dan rubel) Rusia juga melemah," pungkasnya.
