Rupiah Menguat Tipis Menanti Pengumuman BI Rate

Nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) dibuka menguat jelang pengumuman suku bunga Bank Indonesia (BI Rate). Rupiah pagi ini dibuka di level Rp12.184 per USD.

Melansir Bloomberg Dollar Index, Kamis (13/11/2014), Rupiah pada perdagangan non-delivery forward (NDF) menguat sebesar 10 poin atau 0,09 persen ke RP12.184 pper USD dibandingkan dengan penutupan sebelumnya di Rp12.195 per USD.

Analis Samuel Sekuritas Rangga Cipta mengatakan, Rupiah menguat hingga kemarin sore bersama mata uang lain di Asia setelah pada dini hari kemarin tekanan penguatan dolar berkurang di pasar global.

"Hari ini ditunggu pengumuman BI rate yang diperkirakan tetap di 7.5 peren," ujarnya.

Dirinya mengatakan, selain karena jarak BI rate dengan inflasi yang masih lebar, rencana kenaikan harga BBM yang akan disesuaikan dengan kejatuhan harga minyak akan membuat ekspektasi inflasi lebih rendah dari perkiraan awal.

"Hari ini rupiah berpeluang melemah kembali dengan dolar yang kuat," ujarnya.
