Neocate LCP is a nutritionally complete, LCP enriched, powdered amino acid-based infant formula. It is designed for babies with severe Cow’s Milk Allergy and Multiple Food Protein Allergy (a reaction to many different foods). Neocate LCP is suitable for infants from birth to 12 months.
Neocate LCP is a hypo allergenic elemental diet for infants designed for use as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplementary feed for the dietary management of:
• Cow’s Milk Allergy (CMA)
• Multiple Food Protein Allergy (MFPA)
• Short bowel syndrome
• Eosinophilic esophagitis
• Gastroesophageal reflux
• Transition from parenteral to enteral nutrition
• Intractable malabsorption
• Protracted malabsorption - diarrhoea Features
• Includes LCP’s (DHA and ARA)
• Nutritionally complete
• 100% non-allergenic free amino acids
• Includes important nutrients present in breast milk
• Standard dilution = 0.70 kcal/mL
• Osmolality = 360 mOsm/kg H20
• Energy distribution: Protein 11%, Carbohydrate 45%, Fat 44% (MCT 4% / LCT 96%)
• Milk protein free and no peptide residues for those children who demonstrate hypersensitivity to extensively hydrolysed formula (eHF)
