Ditiap tahunnya, Los Angeles Auto Show (LA auto show) selalu mengundang para persuhaan otomotif dunia untuk merancang mobil-mobil konsep terbaru yang sesuai dengan tema yang dibuat oleh panitia. Tema pada tahun ini adalah 'hollywood's hottest new movie car' dimana perusahaan seperti honda, mercedes-benz, smart car, subaru, hyundai, and maybach tidak hanya menampilkan mobil konsep mereka, tetapi sekaligus dengan film mengenai mobil tersebut.



Juri dari kompetisi ini antara lain :

- Jay shuster, art director at pixar animation studio,

- Tom matano, direction of industrial design at academy of art university.

- Mark west dan stewart reed, keduanya merupakan pimpinan di transportation design at detroit college for creative studies and the art center college of design respectively.
