They fail in comparison to the great..
 

but I did manage to get two shots off today with my new Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6G today. The same female cardinal, they are out of focus and I know that. They also have a branch infront of the main subject, but I figured Id share anyway. They were shot through a window and tree (as you can tell). It didnt help it was a very cloudy, cold (22F) day here today.</p>
